Qualifications:
 
  • RN with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience required
  • Competency in primary care clinical operations
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
  • Prevention Plan
    • Oversee and coordinate the clinic's prevention plan in collaboration with nursing volunteers
    • Update and manage prevention notebooks to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Volunteer Training & Development
    • Oversee and facilitate all clinical volunteer onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training
    • Develop and maintain training materials, protocols, and competency checklists for clinical volunteers
    • Provide hands-on mentorship and coaching to nursing volunteers during clinic sessions
    • Evaluate volunteer clinical performance and communicate feedback to the Clinical Coordinator
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical volunteer questions
  • Clinical Operations
    • Facilitate all prior authorizations for medication orders
    • Assist Clinical Coordinator with lab review and medication follow-up calls, including coordinating provider orders and patient communication
    • Provide clinical coverage during clinics as needed at both Fayette and Jessamine locations
    • Serve as a knowledgeable backup to the Clinical Coordinator at both locations, including
      • Supply inventory and ordering
      • Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures
      • Facilitating monthly quality controls
      • Proficient EMR use: charting, scheduling, and related tasks
      • Other tasks as assigned
