City of Hope will be opening our second academic hospital on the Irvine Campus - the only specialty cancer hospital in the area - completing the continuum of care in Orange County and we are seeking a Nurse Manager to ensure efficient operations for our Medical Surgical, Surgical Oncology Unit.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 20-bed Medical Surgical Unit, ensuring high quality of care for patients within the unit on a 7-day/week, 24-hour basis in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager position requires in-depth productivity management, communication, teaching/leaning principles, nursing practice, and the ability to apply nursing theories. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, optimizing patient care delivery, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence across the enterprise to achieve excellent patient outcomes and a workplace of choice.
