POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of the CRSS (Crisis Receiving Stabilization Services) nursing staff. In this capacity, he/she has responsibility for the immediate supervision of CRSS nursing staff as well as the management and oversight of nursing clinical and operational processes. Review and evaluation of medication management trainings to ensure a smooth and coordinated pharmacy operation for the Center, with particular focus on MAT treatment and crisis stabilization unit functionality. Being part of the Center's management team, he/she will be expected to assist in on-call responsibilities and decision making as required in the role. This position is responsible for working with the Director of Adult Intensive Services and Chief Clinical Officer as well as Medical Leadership in developing policies and procedures to promote the philosophy, goals, and mission related to service areas of responsibility. This position will continually establish and strengthen working relationships among staff as well as key community stakeholders by responding timely and appropriately to any concerns or questions related to nursing services. This position will work to ensure that CRSS services are managed by nursing staff and delivered in areas of responsibility according to the best professional and ethical standards. This position operates under minimal supervision and must exercise tact, judgment, and confidentiality in contact with the public, clients, and families, as well as fellow associates of the Center. The work is very broad in scope and requires a high level of professionalism.

Education:
ASN required.
BSN or MSN preferred.
Experience:
Previous supervisor experience preferred.
Three (3) years of Psychiatric RN experience required.
Necessary skills:
Maintains knowledge and monitors any changes required by regulatory bodies which include ANA, JCAHO, CMS, State Board of Health, and DMHA.
Maintain Center credentialing and privilege status.
Monitor the competence of all nursing staff with medical equipment, groups, assessment skills and ensure all maintain competence.
Strong quantitative, organizational, and administrative skills.
Strong people and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively with physicians.
Ability to supervise others and maintain professional relationships among and between associates.
Ability to think critically and perform complex problem solving.

Other:
Must possess an active RN license for the State of Indiana.
Must possess or be able to obtain TB certification within 30 days.
Must possess or be able to obtain CPR certification within 30 days.
Must possess or be able to obtain CPI Advanced certification within 30 days.
