A strong clinical RN with leadership experience (Charge RN / ANM / Relief Nurse / Nurse Manager) who can manage patient care operations, staff development, and clinical quality initiatives. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, operationally strong, and experienced in acute care settings.
The Nurse Manager – Progress Care is responsible for 24-hour accountability of a patient care unit, including clinical leadership, personnel management, fiscal oversight, and continuous improvement of patient care services. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while driving excellence in patient outcomes and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
Provide 24/7 accountability for patient care unit operations
Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standardsOperations & Management
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
Oversee departmental budgets and financial performance
Ensure efficient unit operations and workflow optimizationQuality & Performance Improvement
Analyze patient care outcomes and implement improvements
Drive clinical excellence and best practices
Recommend and implement changes in care deliveryCollaboration
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and clinical staff

Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
Active California RN License (upon hire)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association – upon hire)
Minimum 3 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
Strong clinical knowledge and patient care experience
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience (Charge RN, ANM, Nurse Manager, etc.)
Experience in Progress Care / Step-down / Acute Care units
