Nurse Manager (RN) – Chula Vista, CA

 

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to lead clinical operations, support nursing teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with strong operational, staff development, and patient care management experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical and operational activities within the department

  • Develop staffing plans and ensure appropriate coverage to support patient care needs

  • Monitor workflow efficiency and implement process improvements

  • Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff through coaching and performance management

  • Promote compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Foster a culture focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement

  • Coordinate patient care activities and support effective transitions of care

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Assist with resource allocation, equipment management, and operational planning

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
