Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Operations Lead and manage daily operations of the Medical-Surgical unit Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative work environment Drive staff engagement, retention, and shared governance practices Staff Management & Development Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain nursing staff Coach, mentor, and evaluate team performance Foster professional growth and continuous learning among staff Quality, Safety & Compliance Act as a safety and quality leader for the unit Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulations, and policies Identify risks and implement proactive solutions Support accreditation and regulatory readiness Financial & Resource Management Develop and manage unit budgets and financial performance Optimize use of human and material resources Implement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency Collaboration & Communication Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Maintain strong relationships across departments Resolve conflicts and promote a healthy team culture Performance Improvement & Evidence-Based Practice Drive quality improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes Utilize data and technology for decision-making Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research Professional & Organizational Contribution Represent the organization in committees and community initiatives Support organizational goals and service excellence standards Stay updated with industry trends and best practices Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key skills; Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact State) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred Minimum 2+ years of progressive nursing management experience Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of healthcare operations, finance, and budgeting Experience with quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management Ability to analyze data and drive performance outcomes Familiarity with evidence-based practice and regulatory standards Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills Ability to manage staffing, retention, and workforce planning Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire): Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience required Ability to work Night Shift (for this specific role) Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment Commitment to hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar fulltime positions.
