Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads best practice implementation and patient care delivery systems across multiple locations.
- Delegates investigation and resolution of patient/family concerns regarding care and services.
- Facilitates physician and healthcare team collaboration for optimal continuum of care.
- Monitors clinical resource needs and manages equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Maintains clinical expertise and provides supervision aligned with scope of practice.
- Ensures compliance with Nursing Practice Act, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards.
- Creates developmental opportunities and coaches staff for performance improvement.
- Translates business plans into tactical actions and ensures policy/procedure compliance.
- Manages HR functions including recruitment, performance evaluation, and labor relations.
- Oversees 24/7 care delivery operations with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
- Leads strategic projects for operational efficiency, quality improvement, and root cause analysis.
- Drives continuous quality/safety improvements and regulatory readiness activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Experience in patient care delivery.
- Experience in business operations, clinical healthcare, or related field.
- Leadership experience with or without direct reports.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
- Recent nursing and management experience in acute care UR/Case Management required.
