Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Registered Nurse (RN) in our 37-bed Medical Acute department, you will help a diverse patient population receive comprehensive, high-quality care across complex medical-surgical and behavioral health needs so they can achieve optimal health outcomes and recovery.
Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care for patients with conditions ranging from chronic heart failure and sepsis to schizophrenia and substance dependency. You will be expected to collaborate closely with a robust multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs, Mental Health Techs, physicians, and specialists, manage a dynamic patient load (4:1 telemetry, 5:1 medical-surgical), and respond effectively to high-acuity situations.
