We offer independent living, assisted living and memory care and our team plays a vital role in creating an environment where Sisters feel respected.We are currently seeking a Part-Time Nurse to provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and support the daily clinical needs of our Sisters. This role reports to the Nursing Director.What You'll DoAssist in the provision of the individualized, goal directed, nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse and other members of the patient care team.Assist in determining current and potential needs and/or problems of Sister residents to create a care plan for each Sister based on individual needs.Implement nursing actions according to the established care planReport pertinent data and observations through an established system of communication.Assist with orientation, instructions/training, and supervision of staffCooperate with other staff to achieve departmental objectives to maintain good morale and teamwork.Maintains confidentiality and prudent speech pertaining to all aspects of the position, especially regarding Sister-residents' care.Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment for Sister-residents and staff.Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.Maintain infection control standards.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is clinically competent, dependable, and committed to providing respectful, individualized care in a collaborative senior living environment. They hold a current, valid, and unencumbered New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and sound decision-making skills. They work effectively as part of a collaborative nursing team, communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and colleagues, and maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. They consistently follow established nursing protocols and infection prevention and control standards and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality care. Previous experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or senior living environment is preferred.Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, every other weekend, some holidays requiredPay: $27-$29/hourDifferentials available:1st shift, Saturday/Sunday, $3.00/hour more2nd shift, Monday-Friday, $3.00/hour more2nd shift, Saturday/Sunday, $6.00/hour morePhysical Demands: Must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of the position, which may involve the following: Standing and walking 2/3 of the day; sitting 1/3 of the day; use of hands to finger, handle or feel; reaching, bending and stooping; talking, hearing; lifting up to 75 lbs. 1/3 to 2/3 of the day.
