The Judge Group is Hiring – Remote Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (APC)

Schedule: Full‑Time, 40 hrs/week 

Location: 100% Remote (Telehealth) 

Program: Urgent Care Virtual Care Team

About the Role

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (APC) to provide telephonic and video‑based urgent care for patients across multiple settings. This role supports 24/7 coverage and requires flexibility across nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide urgent telehealth care via phone and video

• Coordinate care with facilities, hospitals, PCPs, and care teams

• Perform acute assessments and document in EMR

• Manage chronic, acute, medical, and behavioral conditions

• Support transitions of care and advanced care planning

• Maintain high‑quality, patient‑centered service in a virtual environment

Schedule Requirements

• Majority of weekly hours fall between 5 PM–8 AM

• Every other weekend (8–12 hr shifts)

• Holiday rotation required

• Must work or have approved PTO for 26 weekends/year

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license (state of residence + ability to obtain others)

• MSN or DNP from accredited program

• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC): FNP, ANP, GNP, AGACNP

• DEA or ability to obtain

• Strong EMR and computer proficiency

• Ability to work required shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years APC clinical experience

• Experience with seniors, complex patients, or acute care settings

• Knowledge of geriatrics, chronic illness, and end‑of‑life care

• Strong communication and adaptability
