What You’ll Do
  • Manage admissions and discharges for ICU patients
  • Perform procedures such as intubation, central lines, dialysis lines, arterial lines (up to 3 in a week)
  • Run codes and assist in emergency situations
  • Communicate effectively with internal floors and transfer teams
  • Collaborate with physicians during day hours and maintain contact during night shifts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality patient care in acute care settings

What You Need
  • Valid and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas
  • DEA registration for prescribing medications
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant ICU or acute care experience
  • Neuro ICU experience is a plus but not required
