Job/Practice Description: Nurse Practitioner
Full-time, employed position
Practice based in an Internal Medicine clinic
Provides high-quality, cost-effective pain management for patients under the care of the physician, within the state scope of practice
Collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care
Provides expanded primary health care services for a caseload of patients in the area of clinical specialization
Requirements:
MSN or DNP from an accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
Pain management experience preferred
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Fundamental knowledge of PC-based applications
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
