Job Summary:
To manage and provide patient medical care in a specialty area and promotes patient health and wellness by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate patient care in collaboration with a physician and in accordance with UMMC, state, and federal requirements and guidelines. To perform job duties in accordance with the medical center''s purpose.
Education & Experience
Education and Experience Required:
Master's degree or higher in Nursing
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: Mississippi APRN license and must have national certification as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Job applications may be accepted for candidates that currently meet the minimum qualifications or candidates actively pursuing the degree and licensure requirements who will meet all minimum requirements within 6 months. Minimum qualifications must be satisfied prior to starting work.
