Overview
A growing, multi-specialty practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology) to support a high-volume, patient-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, collaborate with experienced providers, and manage a steady flow of cardiovascular cases within a bariatric patient population.
Youll work closely with cardiologists and a full clinical support team to deliver comprehensive, outcomes-driven care.
Schedule- Monday & Tuesday
- 8-hour shifts
- Flexible start: 6:00 AM 7:00 AM
- End time: 2:00 PM 3:00 PM
What Youll Do- Perform pre-surgical cardiac stress testing
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage: Coronary artery disease, Heart failure, Arrhythmias, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia
- Order and interpret diagnostics (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors)
- Prescribe and manage cardiac medications, including titration and monitoring
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, prevention, and treatment adherence
- Assist with cardiac procedures as needed
- Support pre- and post-operative care
What Youll Need- Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New York NP and RN licenses
- National Board Certification (NP)
- Current BLS certification
- 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred
