Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our cardiologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be flexible, eager to learn, and comfortable practicing with a high level of autonomy as their experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients in our cardiology practice
  • Perform hospital consults and assist with inpatient follow-up
  • Participate in shared call coverage
  • Collaborate with the cardiology care team to ensure coordinated and effective care
  • Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

  • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, AGNP, or ANP accepted)
  • Experience in cardiology preferred, but primary care NPs with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply
  • Willingness to train and develop advanced cardiology skills
  • Ability to participate in call rotation and consult coverage
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: annually $136,000-$159,000
