End Date/Duration: Ongoing, with 6-month contract extension possible
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday to Friday, 3 days/week

License/Certs: Active License, DEA, BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Cardiology
Experience: Minimum 1 year in outpatient cardiology

What You’ll Do
Provide outpatient cardiac care, including supervising echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests
Sign off on cardiac device checks and interpret EKGs under supervision
Manage patients with various cardiac conditions during clinic hours
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
Support outpatient testing and supervise related procedures in the clinic and hospital
Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and documentation standards
What You Need
Active Oregon state licensure with outpatient privileges
DEA certification
Certification in BLS and ACLS
Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient cardiology experience preferred
Ability to supervise and interpret cardiac tests
Strong communication and patient management skills
About the Assignment This role involves providing outpatient cardiology services at a respected facility in Hood River. The mid-level provider will support cardiac testing supervision, outpatient testing, and patient care management in a professional and collaborative environment. The assignment is initially for six months with potential extension, supporting ongoing outpatient cardiology needs in the community.
