Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Crouses Nurse Practitioner (NP) team is a multi-disciplinary group of Advanced Practice Providers (APP) that provide care to patients through various services including anesthesia/pre-admission testing, cardiology, diabetes, gastroenterology, general surgery, hospitalist, nephrology, neurosciences, orthopedics and palliative medicine in collaboration with an attending physician. The NP team is hiring a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off 7:00am-5:00pm Pay: $150,000 - $172,955.95 / year Responsibilities: The Nurse Practitioner will practice in collaboration with hospital Cardiologists as direct healthcare providers. Responsibilities include working with patients and families to coordinate the delivery of care throughout the hospitalization. This is done by assessing, diagnosing, treating, educating and consulting through regular and/or crisis intervention.The Cardiology NP is responsible for completing Admissions, Discharges, Inpatient Consultations and addressing floor calls for the Cardiology service. Job Requirements: Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current New York State License as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner or Specialty area Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in critical care nursing.
