JOB TITLE: Clinic Nurse Practitioner-TLC/CCC JOB CODE: 1295 JOB HOURS: Various It is expected that all of the duties and responsibilities of this position will be performed in a manner that reflects the Four Key Values of Bothwell Regional Health Center, which are: Community, Purpose, Integrity, and Joy. JOB SUMMARY The Clinic Nurse Practitioner shall have a collaborative agreement with the Physician which grant the APN authority to provide care to patients following protocols that have been jointly agreed upon. The APN provides patient assessment, develops a diagnostic impression, and plans the patient treatment following established protocols. The Clinic Nurse Practitioner reports directly to the Clinic Site Manager who in turn reports directly to the Director of Practice Management. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: a.) Graduate of accredited school of nursing with BS and MS in nursing, including educational preparation as a Nurse Practitioner. Licensure/Certification: a.) Current licensure by Missouri State Board of Nursing. b.) ACLS preferred. c.) BLS required. Work Experience: a.) Past experience as Registered Nurse. b.) Preferably has at least two years as an APN. RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: 1. Assumes responsibility for quality of medical services rendered to patients 2. Consults with Collaborative Physician as needed. 3. Follows all protocols as established with collaborative Physician. 4. Maintains current licensure and required continuing education. 5. Perform other duties as assigned.
