Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of health conditions. The NP will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results

  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations

  • Develop and implement patient care plans

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health maintenance

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program

  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification

  • Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner

  • DEA certification (if required for prescribing)

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [Primary Care / Family Practice / Urgent Care / Specialty Area]

  • BLS/ACLS certification

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
