    Description

    Position Overview

    Provide advanced practice care for pediatric patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, growth concerns, puberty disorders, and related hormonal disorders.

    Work collaboratively with pediatric endocrinologists and the multidisciplinary care team to support diagnosis, treatment planning, education, follow-up, and care coordination.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assess, evaluate, and manage pediatric endocrine patients within scope of practice and in collaboration with supervising physicians.

    Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, glucose data, insulin pump downloads, and continuous glucose monitoring reports.

    Develop and adjust individualized care plans, including medication management, diabetes technology support, patient education, and follow-up planning.

    Educate patients and families on chronic condition management, medication use, sick-day plans, device use, and long-term health goals.

    Coordinate care with families, schools, primary care providers, and specialty services while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in pediatric endocrinology, pediatric diabetes care, pediatric primary care, adolescent medicine, or a related specialty.

    Familiarity with insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, diabetes education, growth hormone therapy, thyroid management, and endocrine lab interpretation.

      Comfortable providing family-centered education and supporting children, adolescents, and caregivers managing chronic conditions.
