We are a busy and well-established family practice that has operated independently for more than 25 years. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families and are looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with patients while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. We offer mentorship and support from our experienced doctors. If you are looking for an opportunity to leave the clinical environment of the hospitals and join a comfortable medical office while making a lasting difference in patient care, this position is for you. No working nights or weekends beyond the shared on-call rotation.
The ideal candidate is confident, personable, and committed to providing high-quality primary care.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a broad range of medical conditions
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
- Perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations
- Educate patients and families about their health and treatment options
- Develop long-term relationships with patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and the rest of our team
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
We're Looking For
- Current Physician Assistant license and certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team
- Family medicine or primary care experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
