We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care and support to patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health concerns. This role will work collaboratively with our therapists and clinical team to ensure patients receive coordinated, evidence-based care in a supportive outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and committed to helping individuals achieve improved mental health and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and clinical presentation.
- Provide medication management services, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with therapists, counselors, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
- Support patients through a variety of concerns, including:
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression and mood disorders
- Trauma-related concerns
- ADHD
- Behavioral health challenges
- Life transitions and stress management
- Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary treatment planning as needed.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and continuing education requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Background in Spravato and/or Ketamine strongly preferred.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Active state licensure and prescriptive authority in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health, psychiatry, family medicine, or integrated healthcare settings.
- Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults.
- Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric and behavioral health treatment approaches.
- Experience with electronic health records and telehealth services.
