Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Primary Care Float

Required Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri (or ability to obtain before start).
• Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  National Board Certification.
• At least one year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care (required).
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient assessment skills.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR).
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  Submission Requirements
  To be considered, candidates must provide:
• Current NP license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross only).
• Screenshot of NP license and BLS certification.
• Completed candidate questionnaire including:NP license status
  RN/APRN license status
• NPI number
• Years of Primary Care experience
• EMR/EHR systems used
• Planned time off
• Interview availability
• Earliest available start date
  Additional Information
• Primary Care or Urgent Care experience is mandatory.
• This is a patient-facing, safety-sensitive position.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
• Position requires every other weekend with possible holiday rotations.
• Occasional travel for float coverage may be required.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive primary and family healthcare services.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
• Perform wellness exams, preventive care, health screenings, and patient education.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and chronic disease management.
• Perform clinic operations including patient follow-up, insurance verification, inventory management, payment collection, and opening/closing procedures.
