The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Job Overview -------------

Provide thorough assessment, triage, and management of patient and family needs throughout the disease process as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Collaborate with supervising physicians while adhering to state laws and hospital policies to deliver team-based care.

Conduct medical history assessments, physical exams, and manage diagnostic and treatment plans, including chemotherapy prescribing.

Educate patients and families on care processes and available resources, collaboratively discussing treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Offer psychosocial support to patients and their loved ones in a compassionate and ethical manner.

Opportunity to assist in the operating room as needed.

Requirements -------------

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• 1-2 years of experience in Gyn and/or Oncology is preferred
• Surgical and chemotherapy experience is an advantage
• Active, unrestricted Connecticut medical license or in process of obtaining
• ACLS/BLS certification as required
• DEA License
