A well-established, physician-owned primary care practice in the Metro Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its growing outpatient team.
This opportunity is ideal for a provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while building long-term relationships with adult patients. The practice focuses exclusively on adult medicine, emphasizing preventive care, chronic disease management, and comprehensive primary care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for adult patients (18+)
- Conduct physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within the scope of practice
- Provide preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up services
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical care team
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
- National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP)
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of outpatient primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner (required)
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Candidates living in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta suburbs within commuting distance of Suwanee are preferred
Compensation
