Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - General Surgery

We are seeking dedicated and talented Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to become integral members of our vibrant general surgery team. What You'll Do:
- Assist in a variety of general surgical procedures with a focus on providing top-tier patient care.
- Support surgeons during scheduled cases, which average 90-110 procedures weekly, including Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, ENT, and general surgery.
- Collaborate closely with OR staff — surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs — to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Participate in managing a daily caseload of 10-30 cases, some of which may extend past regular hours.
- Maintain a patient-centered approach in a team-oriented environment, focusing on delivering exceptional care from pre-op to post-op.
Required Skills:
- Valid and current license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Proven experience in surgical settings, preferably with general surgery and related specialties.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of cases efficiently.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with orthopedic, OBGYN, urology, or ENT surgeries.
- Previous experience working in outpatient or hospital-based surgical settings.
- Bilingual abilities to facilitate diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (for NP candidates) or related Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program.
- At least 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in surgical or perioperative care.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential rotating weekends.
- Willingness to assist in complex surgical cases and support hospital staff as needed.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all licensing and certification requirements.
