Required Skills:
- Active California License and CA DEA certification
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ACNP credential) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Minimum of 2 years of general surgery experience or comparable clinical work
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with hospital privileging processes
- Familiarity with surgical case documentation and case log management
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical situations
- Experience working in a team-based environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active licensure in California
- 2+ years of recent general surgery practice
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency completion
Other Requirements:
- Current active California medical license and DEA registration
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Willingness to assist with documentation and privileging processes
- Flexibility for travel-related reimbursements and compliance with travel policies
