About the Role:
Michel Badin MD PA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with the supervising physician and multidisciplinary care team to develop and manage individualized patient care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging relevant to hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology-related treatments
• Manage symptom control, supportive care, and palliative interventions for cancer patients
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and disease management
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of New Jersey
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
• Board certification as an Adult, Family, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• Prior experience in hematology, oncology, or a related specialty strongly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in internal medicine, hospital medicine, or another relevant specialty who are highly motivated to learn oncology are enouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols, clinical oncology guidelines, and supportive care management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• DEA license and NPI number required or ability to obtain
