• Duration: Ongoing with locum-to-perm potential
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, work until last chemo/biotherapy is completed
• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment: Locum, with possible transition to permanent
• Licensure/Certs: Active Nurse Practitioner license in LA (or eligible)
• Experience: 3-5 years Hematology/Oncology experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a full panel of hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Follow up with patients undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Conduct new patient visits, treatment planning, and ongoing follow-ups
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document in EMR
• Participate in rotating call coverage on Saturdays (8 am - 12 pm) approximately once every 3 months
• Work with an established team of 2 NPs and 2 physicians in a fully staffed clinic with infusion suite

What You Need:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana or eligibility to obtain one
• 3-5 years of Hematology/Oncology experience
• Strong coordination and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Comfortable managing complex cases with co-morbidities
