Our multidisciplinary team works closely to provide comprehensive cardiovascular services, from preventative care to advanced diagnostics and procedures. We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us continue raising the standard of care.


Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, in collaboration with our physicians. This role involves both in-office patient visits and coordination of ongoing treatment plans, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and patient education.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging studies.

  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Perform patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with MIPS and other performance measures.

Qualifications:


  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in Texas and in good standing.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • EMR proficiency (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred).
