Position Summary/ Department Summary:

Nurse Practitioner, Interventional Radiology

  • Please note this role is non-procedural*

Key Responsibilities:

  • The assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients requiring Interventional Radiology interventions in consultation with the Interventional Radiologists.
  • Ordering and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests, post-procedural recovery care, inpatient rounds, consultation with other health care providers, coordination of care, referrals, prescription of medications, and follow up care including telephone updates, triage of complications and clinic visits.
  • Working 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday including the ability to work a range of 8-to-12-hour shifts

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • A MSN/NP or DNP Program

Experience:

  • 2 years of PNP/FNP experience.
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team is a plus.
  • Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills and be self-directed.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • A current license in the state of Massachusetts to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP (primary or acute care) or FNP
  • MCSR and DEA upon hire

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
