Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a per diem/PRN opportunity in a supportive outpatient clinic environment serving employees and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys a mix of primary care, occupational health, and wellness support in a collaborative clinical setting.

Clinic hours consist of 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Please note that this is a PRN role with no guaranteed set schedule, but per diem staff is utilized quite a bit.

Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will provide a broad range of outpatient clinical services in an employer-based health setting, seeing approximately 10–15 patients per day. The ideal candidate will be comfortable practicing independently, managing a variety of primary care and occupational health needs, and partnering with onsite staff to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary Care & Wellness: Provide wellness visits, chronic disease management, and biometric screenings.
  • Occupational Health: Perform DOT physicals and pre-employment evaluations.
  • Clinical Services: Perform point-of-care (POC) testing and manage specimen collection.
  • Pharmacy Support: Oversee the in-house pharmacy, requiring the acquisition or maintenance of a Florida Dispensing License.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on chronic conditions and provide health and wellness coaching.
  • Collaboration: Provide assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing and planning patient care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a certified Nurse Practitioner program with an active FL FNP license.
  • Requires a current RN license.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of FNP experience (Family Medicine experience preferred).
  • Active DEA license or proof of application.
  • Full prescriptive authority required.
