Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Disability Evaluations

The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans seeking compensation for service-connected medical and psychological conditions.

In this evaluation-focused role, you will perform physical examinations, review medical records and diagnostic testing, and prepare reports in accordance with VA guidelines. This is a full-time opportunity with a five-day-per-week schedule. Part-time opportunities may also be available, with compensation prorated based on hours worked.

Starting Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually for full-time employment

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
  • Review and interpret diagnostic and ancillary testing.
  • Prepare detailed medical reports using VA criteria to assess whether conditions are related to military service.
  • Complete and submit VA-approved questionnaires through our user-friendly report generation platform.

Qualifications

  • Current, valid Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Previous experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preferred clinical backgrounds include Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or Orthopedics.
