Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care within their specialty area in collaboration with a licensed physician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and assess patient health conditions
• Diagnose illnesses and develop appropriate treatment plans within scope of practice
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify clinical issues
• Record patient histories, physical findings, and establish care plans and prognosis
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans
• Submit patient care plans and goals for periodic physician review and evaluation
• Prescribe or recommend medications, therapies, and other treatment options (e.g., physical therapy, inhalation therapy)
• Refer patients to physicians or specialized healthcare providers when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Schedule:

• Shifts available: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Active New York State License as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department in a specialty area
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
