Nurse Practitioner, Marshall Medical Centers North, ER, Full time, 9a 7p/3p 1a

Overview

The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.

Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints which range from non-urgent to emergent in nature within the scope of a certified registered nurse practitioner or doctorate prepared nurse practitioner.

Qualifications

Education / Licensure / Certification:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Must have a current registered nurse license in the State of Alabama, with designation: CRNP or DNP.
• Graduate of an approved program for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner
• Possesses skills needed for functioning effectively as an emergency department health care provider.
• Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Current certification in ACLS, PALS
