
About the Position
Lane County Behavioral Health in beautiful Eugene, Oregon is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic nurse practitioner for its community adult outpatient clinic. This is the ideal position for the clinician interested in the rewards associated with serving more vulnerable patients through the public mental health system while also achieving an excellent work/life balance. The position involves performing psychiatric assessments, consultations, and follow-up appointments for clients in the general adult and/or forensic clinic while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Integrated care opportunities with affiliated primary care clinics may also be available. This is a full-time position.
About the Division
Lane County Behavioral Health Services encompasses a broad array of services and programs. Services include treatment for children, families, and adults. Services can be accessed through a variety of programs focusing on mental health issues. Lane County Behavioral Health Services is a public mental health provider receiving funding from state mental health grants and client fees, some of which may be in the form of Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance carriers’ reimbursements.

Training:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program specific to the expanded specialty of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
