What You’ll Do
  • Provide neonatal/inpatient coverage as a Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in a hospital setting
  • Manage newborn rounding and daily neonatal care responsibilities
  • Support stabilization and resuscitation, including infrequent resuscitation events (about 1–3/week)
  • Perform and/or manage required neonatal procedures and clinical tasks listed below
  • Provide care during partial in-house hours (6–8 hours/day) and beeper call coverage for the remainder of the day
  • Maintain availability within 30 minutes of the hospital during beeper call periods
  • Participate in required documentation and maintain 2 years of case logs

What You Need
Required
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license (or active OR)
  • DEA:Yes
  • Certification/Skills:BLS, NRP, Stable
  • Board Certification:BC only
  • Experience:2 years of case logs
  • Clinical requirements:
    • Intubation of Newborn
    • UVC
    • Needle Pneumothorax (decompression)
    • X-ray interpretation
  • Clean file required for expedited/temp privileges
  • Ability to be within 30 minutes of the hospital during beeper call
  • Cannot work another site while scheduled
