Shift: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7 am – 7 pm or 7 am – 7 am)
Hours/week: Variable based on shift choice

Licenses/Certifications: Neonatal NP or PA certified, OR license preferred
Experience: Completion of a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency

What You’ll Do
Provide clinical management for high-risk neonates in Level III NICUs
Conduct assessments, diagnose, and manage neonatal conditions independently
Assist in deliveries and perform essential procedures
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver family-centered care
Exercise autonomy in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Engage in patient education and follow-up care
Contribute to a multidisciplinary team across two busy hospital sites with high patient volumes
What You Need Required:
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
OR license (willing to obtain)
Completion of a Neonatal PA fellowship or residency
Prior experience with neonatal or high-acuity patient care
Preferred:
Experience with delivery room procedures
Strong clinical skills in neonatal assessment and stabilization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
About the Assignment This role involves providing advanced neonatal care in both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers, both Level III NICUs with high patient volumes. You will support care for some of the most vulnerable newborns, with coverage at both hospitals, each with unique patient populations. Your work will help support a collaborative environment dedicated to family-centered, high-quality neonatal care.
