We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient Movement Disorders Neurology practice in Ahwatukee, Arizona. This unique opportunity allows you to care for adults living with Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, and other complex neurologic conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
With a manageable patient schedule of approximately 12 patients per day, you'll have the time to perform comprehensive evaluations, educate patients and caregivers, and provide the personalized care these individuals deserve.

About the Role
As a Neurology Nurse Practitioner, you'll evaluate and manage adult patients with movement disorders while working closely with neurologists and an interdisciplinary care team. You'll diagnose neurologic conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, adjust medications, educate patients and caregivers, and provide ongoing follow-up care that supports long-term disease management.
This role is ideal for providers who enjoy continuity of care, patient education, and practicing in a specialty where they can make a lasting impact.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive neurologic evaluations for new and established patients
- Diagnose and manage movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and related neurologic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
- Initiate, titrate, and monitor medications while managing therapeutic response and potential side effects
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease progression, treatment options, symptom management, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate care with neurologists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support efficient clinic operations
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving quality of life

Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain before start)
- Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP/ACNP)
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Experience in neurology, primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or a related clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in neurology or movement disorders
- Outpatient practice experience
- Experience managing chronic neurologic or complex medical conditions
- Strong patient education and chronic disease management skills
