Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery in Seattle, WA | Inpatient Clinical Role

  • End Date/Duration: Ongoing through Spring 2027
  • Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, inpatient clinical hours, with occasional weekend call
  • Hours/Week: 40-50 (guaranteed 10 hours daily, with overtime opportunities)
  • Employment Type: Full-time locum assignment
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active WA license or IMLC, DEA required, BC certification
  • Experience: Prior neurosurgery experience preferred

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $1.00 (to be finalized upon bid)
  • Pay Package: Competitive, with weekly direct deposit

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with neurosurgery team to provide inpatient care
  • Assist with initial assessments, rounds, and patient management
  • Participate in occasional weekend beeper call (12-hour shifts)
  • Support surgical procedures as a first assist (if experienced)
  • Document patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered neurosurgical service

What You Need
Required:
  • Active Washington State license or IMLC license
  • DEA certification
  • Board certification (BC)
  • Experience in neurosurgery nurse practitioner or PA role

Preferred:
  • Experience as a first assist in neurosurgery
  • Strong clinical skills in inpatient neurosurgical care
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
