Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery in Seattle, WA

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including call coverage)
  • Hours/Week: 40+ hours
  • Employment Type: Full-time temporary assignment
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active WA or IMLC license, DEA required, BC certification
  • Experience: Prior Neurosurgery NP or PA experience preferred, first assist experience a bonus but not required

What You’ll Do
  • Perform inpatient rounding within the Neurosurgery unit
  • Assist with pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Provide clinical support during procedures and rounds
  • Respond to occasional weekend beeper call (Saturday and Sunday, 12 hours)
  • Collaborate with neurosurgical team to coordinate patient treatment plans
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records
  • Support the multidisciplinary team in managing complex neurosurgical cases

What You Need
  • Active WA or IMLC license
  • DEA license
  • BC certification in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Prior experience in neurosurgery preferred
  • Ability to handle inpatient care with confidence
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
