Nurse Practitioner (NP) - 1-Day Assignment

An occupational health organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Lubbock, TX to support a high-volume screening event. This role focuses on conducting Human Performance Exams, performing medical clearance evaluations, and documenting fit-for-duty findings in a fast-paced clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Tuesday, June 23rd
• Hours: 7am to 6:30pm
• Setting: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Perform Human Performance Exams, including functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling assessments
• Review range of motion, strength, endurance, and any medical limitations affecting job performance
• Provide medical clearance determinations based on physical demand requirements and clinical findings
• Conduct focused physical exams and health screenings, including vitals, medical history review, and general assessment
• Document evaluations accurately and collaborate with onsite clinical and operational teams to support workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
• Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a high-volume screening setting
