Your Responsibilities
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating personalized treatment plans
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in collaboration with healthcare professionals or independently, depending on credentials
  • Providing education to patients and families about health maintenance, wellness strategies, and disease prevention

Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Kentucky
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
