Nurse Practitioner (NP) Medical Doctor (MD) Part-Time

About the Role:
Suarez Family Medicine PLLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Medical Doctor (MD) to join our team on a part-time basis in Freeport, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused family medicine practice where patient care is at the heart of everything we do.



Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients 
• Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and health screenings
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and manage individualized patient care plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication regimens
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care team members to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Requirements:

• Active NP or MD license in the state of New York (required)
• Board certification in Family Medicine or related specialty preferred
• Experience in a primary care or family medicine setting strongly preferred
• DEA license and ability to prescribe medications independently or collaboratively
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
