Pay: $120/hr 1099 or $100/hr on W2
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The NP/PA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across a variety of acute and chronic conditions. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and injuries in collaboration with supervising physicians as needed.
- 20-bed hospital with onsite hospitalist, 36 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage per day.
- Perform clinical procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, and other approved interventions.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
