Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our specialty team with a permanent night schedule. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is looking to balance work with personal commitments.

Schedule: 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advanced clinical care in a specialized area of medicine overnight.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and JHH protocols.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Qualifications:

Current certification as an Advanced Practice Provider (Adult Gero Acute Care NP required or PA) with relevant specialization in General Surgery.

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.

Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a specialty area.

Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

New graduate APPs welcome. RN General Surgery experience preferred.

Experience in general surgery preferred

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
