We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology Team at Methodist Hospital! 

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Nights
  • 3x13 hour shifts (6pm-6am)
  • 100% Inpatient
  • Rotating every 3rd weekend
  • No Call
  • Team includes 50 Cardiologists and 31 Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Working directly with 20 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Provider

Patient Population:

  • Adult cardiology patients aged 17 through end of life (HTN, CHF, CAD, Arrhythmias, Syncope, Valvular Disease, HLD, Cardiogenic shock, as well as cross coverage of interventional/EP/adult congenital)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform H&P for new admissions
  • Perform consultations
  • Review and interpret testing results
  • Document cross cover notes and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in caring for the cardiology population

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Required
  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certifications required
  • APP experience preferred.
  • If new graduate, must have ICU/PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations.
