    Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiology

    The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Gainesville, Florida.

    This role offers a blend of outpatient clinic care and inpatient cardiovascular medicine, providing exposure to a wide range of cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans. Providers work closely with experienced cardiologists and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and high-quality patient care.

    What You'll Do

    • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings
    • Perform hospital rounding, cardiovascular consults, follow-up visits, and patient education
    • Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
    • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
    • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
    • Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

    Qualifications

    • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
    • Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
    • Cardiology or acute care experience preferred but not required
    • New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
