    Advanced Practice Provider - Interventional Pulmonology

    Trinity Health Of New England - Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT

    Trinity Health Of New England, the regions largest nonprofit health system, is seeking a board-certified and Connecticut-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Interventional Pulmonology team at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.

    This full-time role, structured as four 10-hour shifts per week, offers an exceptional opportunity to work alongside an experienced Interventional Pulmonology team in a dynamic and expanding program. The team specializes in the management of complex airway, pleural, and esophageal diseases through advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Advanced Practice Provider will be directly involved in patient care across the continuum, including both inpatient and outpatient settings, and will support procedures such as navigational bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, airway stenting, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction, and pleural interventions.

    In this position, the provider will conduct pre-procedure evaluations, assist in post-procedure care, and manage patients longitudinally with both benign and malignant pulmonary conditions. They will interpret diagnostic and imaging data, contribute to clinical decision-making, and help guide patients through complex care pathways, including those related to lung cancer screening and workup. The role includes participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and involvement in quality and performance improvement efforts within the IP program.

    Ideal candidates will have experience or strong interest in Interventional Pulmonology, Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, or Critical Care. While prior experience is preferred, motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply, and comprehensive training in IP-specific procedures and workflows will be provided.
