Position Overview
An established employer-sponsored outpatient healthcare program is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a PRN/Float opportunity supporting clinic locations in Anderson, Columbus, and Franklin, Indiana.
This flexible opportunity is ideal for a provider who enjoys delivering comprehensive primary care, preventive health services, and occupational healthcare in an outpatient setting. The selected provider will provide coverage as needed across the three locations while maintaining continuity of care and a positive patient experience.
This is a PRN-only opportunity. Full-time positions are not currently available. Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible travel between assigned clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-employment physical examinations, routine wellness visits, and preventive health screenings.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
- Create individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and established care guidelines.
- Provide occupational health services, including evaluation and treatment of workplace-related injuries.
- Deliver preventive care, patient education, and wellness counseling.
- Support medical weight management programs through lifestyle guidance, behavioral interventions, and appropriate medication management, including GLP-1 therapies.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and modify care plans as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists when additional care is necessary.
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adapt to the operational needs of multiple outpatient clinic locations while maintaining consistent standards of care.
Required Qualifications- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Active Indiana professional license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or a comparable primary care specialty.
- Ability to manage patient visits independently within the applicable scope of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered healthcare.
- Ability and willingness to provide PRN coverage across Anderson, Columbus, and Franklin, Indiana.
Preferred Qualifications- Active DEA registration.
- Previous experience in employer-sponsored healthcare, occupational medicine, or outpatient wellness clinics.
- Experience supporting medical weight management and obesity treatment programs.
- Familiarity with GLP-1 medications and associated patient monitoring.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Prior experience providing coverage across multiple outpatient clinic locations.
